As much as I hate to admit that I jumped the gun by claiming that Seung Cho was probably under the influence of the Spirits of Darkness when he went on his mind-boggling rampage, I am doing so in the interest of objectivity.  There is no shortage of evidence indicating that he might have been possessed by intelligent, anti-human spiritual beings, but I haven't been able to find any really convincing evidence.  Another possibility is that he had cultivated a degree of hatred which borders on demonic possession and became what Rudolf Steiner called a "world hater," and instead of being driven by a lust for destruction as in demonic possession, he was "possessed" by hatred and driven by a deep-seated hatred of the entire world. 

My main reason for assuming that he was under their influence, partly due to video games and "anti-depressants," is that I can't imagine anyone supposedly so sensitive to the suffering of social outcasts to transform from an extremely quiet, brooding "piece of furniture" into a implacable mass murderer driven only by rage, and not by a variety of possession in which the person is disposable once his/her mission is accomplished.  I haven't found any other indications that he had previously exploded in rage, and it seems that if he has such an inclination, there would have been a prior incident.  If anything, he seemed capable of suppressing any amount of anger.  The "manifesto" angle smacked of Andrea Yates' convoluted rationale for doing what she did, and seemed to indicate that he too was being fed a twisted rationale, along with the murderous will-impulses, by the Spirits of Darkness.  The fact that the setting is in a location likely to have high "spiritual pressure" also contributed to my assumption.

His case is complicated by the fact that he apparently suffered some sort of a congenital brain defect which made him very strange, aloof (like some malevolent alien), and quiet to the point of being regarded as autistic, and he doesn't seem to fit in any categories I've seen before.  So, I'm going to have to drop it unless some solid evidence turns up.

Based on summaries I've heard/read about Cho Seung-Hui's "manifesto," which is described as an incoherent rant, it seems that he didn't really know why he did what he did, so it's as if he was driven by will-impulses from the Spirits of Darkness, and his mind tried to rationalize what he was being driven to do (note that he wrote something like "you drove me to do this"), weaving together whatever semi-plausible excuse popped into his mind.  For more background on this form of temporary possession, see my webpage "Additional support for my Yates-possession hypothesis."  I suspect that his exposure to violent trance-inducing video games, which just coincidentally are produced by people with an "occult" orientation, was a factor in opening his soul to these outside forces.  There were actually quite a few factors, just as in the Yates case.

According to articles I read about the Virginia Tech massacre, the shooter had written "Ismail Ax" on his arm.  Some people have tried to decode it, with little success, but it just so happens that converted to numbers, it equals 88, which is neo-Nazi slang for Heil Hitler.  Since, as some occultists have claimed, Hitler was possessed by the Sun Demon or Devil, the Beast with two horns (Satan and Lucifer), "Heil Hitler" is also a means of honoring the Beast.  My guess is that he was "inspired" to adopt this name by whatever Spirits of Darkness were shouting in his ears.

By the way, not only is the killer's former residence on the giant ley-line which passes to the west of DC, but so too is Virginia Tech.  So, he would have been subjected to intense "spiritual pressure" practically 24 hours a day, assuming he stayed in the area between these two points.

This is a preliminary reaction to the massacre, but there are indications that this could have been another case of possession by the Spirits of Darkness.  One thing that stands out about this crime is how methodical and "lucky" the shooter was, and his lack of emotion reported by at least one witness.  The shooter also lived in Centrevill, VA, which is very close to the major ley line which passes just west of Washington, DC (the influence of the SoDs is especially strong along ley lines).  Some reports indicate that he was on "anti-depressants," which can increase the hostility of some people, and which I suspect are designed to drive out the soul, leaving a void for the entry of other influences.  There are also indications that he had been fixated on certain dark thoughts, as was Andrea Yates.  (Perhaps he had taken a course in existentialism, which Rudolf Steiner would characterize as a Satanic influence due to its "superstition of materialism," and had an existentialist outlook, which would contribute to a predisposition to become possessed.)  The number of victims (among which I include the shooter), 33, just happens to be a special number to the dark side, because it incorporates 3 and 11, which are the main factors in most "occult numbers." 

Also note that the shootings occurred on the new Moon, which is associated with Satan.  (The full Moon is more typically associated with Lucifer; for example. McNamara, a key architect of the Vietnamese "apocalypse" and a one-time member of the Lucis Trust, was reported to have regularly gone swimming in the Potomac at the time of the full Moon to "bathe in moonbeams.")

The timing of the shootings was very convenient for two of Satan's more effective minions - Dick Cheney and Alberto Gonzales, who did so much to create legal protections for Satanists who have been running amok in Cheney's various pits of Hades.

After further reflection, I've concluded that the Amish-school shootings can be explained by psychology.  The shooter had probably depersonalized his victims, and figured that what he planned to do wouldn't cause them to suffer for very long, but that he would have his revenge on society and God for what he believed they had done to him.  It's just hard for me, a layman, to comprehend how someone can keep such rage bottled up so well for so long.  Perhaps it was simmering and something touched it off recently, such as economic conditions or a snack food containing certain partially hydrogenated oils which can cause brain malfunction.  He was clearly inspired by the similar school-hostage incident in Colorado which took place shortly before his rampage.  So, at least in this case, don't blame Satan or his minions, but don't let your guard down either.  As horrible as this incident was, good will come of it.

The solution, I believe, is a better understanding of why God allows us to suffer, although we can never hope to understand His infinite mind completely.  Just look at the stars (each of which corresponds to a great spiritual being) and know that the same God that created the infinite universe also created you, and in fact that He created the universe FOR you, and that you belong to the only class of being created to have free will and to become free spirits by exercising it.
