Iraq would NOT implode if we withdrew
Topic: Big Lies
One of the more important and educational articles I've read in a while is Apocalypse Not by Robert Dreyfuss (http://www.alternet.org/waroniraq/48186/), which exposes Cheney's main excuse for remaining in Iraq - that it would become even more violent and chaotic - as another one of his big lies.  It would seem that Richard of Oz's actual fear is that Iraq would stabilize and begin to recover, thus exposing him as the cause of the chaos.

More freedom for Big Brother Bush
Topic: Big Lies

"You can fool some of the people all of the time and those are the ones you want to concentrate on."
George W. Bush, March 31, 2001 [He was probably referring to those fantasy-ridden "Christian" Fundamentalists who consider Bush to be God's instrument of prophecy-fulfillment.]

W Pushes Envelope on US Spying
New postal law lets Bush peek through your mail

by James Gordon Meek

WASHINGTON - President Bush has quietly claimed sweeping new powers to open Americans' mail without a judge's warrant, the Daily News has learned.

The President asserted his new authority when he signed a postal reform bill into law on Dec. 20. Bush then issued a "signing statement" that declared his right to open people's mail under emergency conditions.

That claim is contrary to existing law and contradicted the bill he had just signed, say experts who have reviewed it.

Bush's move came during the winter congressional recess and a year after his secret domestic electronic eavesdropping program was first revealed. It caught Capitol Hill by surprise. [end of excerpt]

This violation of his oath of office is being done in the name of a war on terrorism, when in fact Bush is the world's biggest terrorist.  Take an honest look at Iraq, where terrorism is rampant, thanks to him.  This was no accident, as can be seen by the unerring pattern of events which created it.

To call Bush a conservative is to call our Founding Fathers fascists.  The toughest part of his job is to keep a straight face as he pretends to be concerned about our well-being, as he works to destroy civilization.  ("Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."  He was telling the truth, for a change.)

Bush isn't just a pathological liar - he's the personification of the principle of the Big Lie.  We just had a service devoted to the worship of this principle, disguised as the state funeral of Gerald Ford, who used his reputation for honesty to sell the Magick Bullet cover story for the "market forces" (Synarchist bankers) which were actually behind the JFK hit, using professional hit-men dispatched from France, Synarchy's home turf.  So it is only proper that Bush and Tom Brokaw were two of the main speakers at this service.

An apt symbol for the Bush administration
Topic: Big Lies
Nobody  who understands the roots of the Hitler and Bush regimes should be shocked at my assertion that this old poster from the Third Reich is a suitable symbol for the Bush administration.  Even as Bush works constantly to establsih a dictatorship, and has used dictatorial powers to wage a war of aggression which has caused little but death and destruction, he frequently reminds us how free we supposedly are.

Bush's rhetoric designed to daze audience?
Topic: Big Lies

"Bush says U.S. to stay in Iraq till mission complete By Caren Bohan
Tue Nov 28, 11:33 AM ET

RIGA (Reuters) -   President George W. Bush brushed aside talk of civil war in Iraq on Tuesday and insisted the United States would not withdraw its forces before its mission of building a stable democracy there was complete.

[...]

"'Some doubt whether the people of that region are ready for freedom, or want it badly enough, or have the courage to overcome the forces of totalitarian extremism,' Bush said in the Latvian capital Riga where he is attending a NATO summit. 'I understand these doubts but I do not share them.'"

from http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20061128/pl_nm/iraq_bush_troops_dc

The purpose of statements,  such as the one quoted above, which are based on some fantasy-version of the war in Iraq,  appears to be to daze the audience through sheer disorientation in order to prevent them from recognizing the lies pouring from Howdy Dubya's lips.

By "stable democracy," Bush apparently means that he intends to convert Iraq into a cemetery.  It's currently in its freedom (chaos) stage.  Once the freedom is over, there will be stability - and three people left alive to vote, to qualify it as democratic.  From this perspective, the "war" (Satanism on a vast scale) in Iraq is a huge success.
